BLUR MOTION JOURNAL

1. A blur motion picture is one that has a perspective that the object in the picture is moving. The photo can originally have the motion sense or it can be edited into it.

2. To create a blur motion photograph you basically need a camera, a subject, perspective, and a good camera angle.

3. Your subject could be anything in motion; car, hands, rain.

4. In your camera, you should slow down the shutter speed which makes the moving object seem slower that is able to capture the motion photograph.

5.

1. Blur motion is a photo that is taken while a subject is in motion

which creates this effect.

2. To create a blur image with the camera, the most common thing to do is lower the shutter speed which captures the moving object.

3. In photoshop, if the image was originally the way i wanted i would look for a way to add an effect that made the motion more noticeable.

4. The difficult part of shooting these images was to get the subject completely in the photo while moving in a different direction that the camera is facing.

5. The easy part of shooting these images was that once the photo was taken and actually came out well, there wasn't much you needed to do to it.

I chose this image because it seems to take part in our history, fight for equality.

I think this image fits into the photojournal style of photography.

I say they shot this image behind the man with the weapon behind his back, facing the camera so the protesters in the background are visual as well.

I chose this image because i like all of the colors that are added onto it.

I think this image fits into the aerial style of photography.

This image was shot from a birds eye view, creating the horizontal and split line of an image.

I chose this image because i edited a blur motion similar to this one.

I think this image fits into blur motion category.

Obviously there isn't 5 separate women in the picture, the artist shot several photos on one subject and overlapped each of them to create this blur motion effect.

I chose this image because i feel that it is an interesting image to look at, you font get the whole engage from just glancing at it.

This image fits into satellite imagery, and landscape photography.

Another image from a birds eye perspective view onto part of a city on a coast.

I chose this image because i thought the way the image was taken was interesting and unusual in a portrait.

This image fits into a head shot style.

The object in which creates the line in between part of her body and her face is unrecognizable, but the color of her eye stands out because her surroundings are dark shaded colors.

I chose this image because it has a style that we have already went over and actually shot some images of our own.

This image fits into a blur motion photo style.

It seems as this images location is some type of transportation with an open ended area. There is only woman in this image, all sitting but one. The blur takes place where the open area shows the background or what seems these travelers are passing through.

I chose this image because the fact that the photographer focused on one subject while having a busy background.

This image best fits into fashion style of photography.

The subject that is the most focused on was positioned in the middle of a large crowd on a busy street. The subject also one of the least of things that is clear in the photo and not blurry.

I chose this image because it has the same style of photography we are recently working with. Many colors.

This image best fits into a force perspective style.

The lens is actually what the picture is being taken of, although the lens does clearly show the subjects or objects that would have been shown in a regular photo of the background. The actual background of this photo is the lights that are surrounding but they are motioned blurry.

I chose this image because i believe it would be easy to describe, meaning we covered this style of photography.

This style of photography is a head shot, possibly a self portrait.

Obviously this photo was edited into black and white, it is a head shot that has the model facing up giving a specific emotion.

I chose this image because it is a good example to explain to someone the style of photography this class is working on and the type of images we are to create such as this one.

The style of photography is force perspective.

The model in the photo seems to be standing on top of a hill and the moon is full in the background. Having her arms pulled back beside her creates the perspective that she is in touch with the moon.

STILL LIFE 11/15

Independent Project Journal

1. The type of photography I chose to do for my independent project is Silhouette photography which is basically a view of an object or scene consisting of an outline and the silhouetted object being black.

2. Reviewing examples i have already seen online, i plan to keep the tradition of a silhouetted object, although obviously i would create my own creative images with the same style.

3. I would need to take these photos either when the sun sets or rises, the light go daylight wouldn't make the silhouetted subject to appear the way it needs to. Another choice i have is to shoot objects or people, the choice is mine because i would just have to make sure the subject ties into the style of photography i chose.

4. There isn't really a specific location i would need to be to take these images, although i just need to be in a position where the sky is visible.

5. I chose this style of photography because i have never focused on this specific style before either on my own or for school, also the fact of liv ing in albuquerque is a benefit towards this style fortunately sunsets are common.

Independent Project Proposal

1. For my independent project I chose to do a Silhouette style photography.

2. To get these images I either waited for the sun to set or to rise. I couldn't take pictures in daylight because the object in the picture wouldn't get the effect of a silhouette.

3. I didn't do much editing to my pictures, maybe just add a bit of saturation and contrast to darken the object of the photo a little more and have the colors to the background, which was the sky stronger.

4. About this photography while shooting it, I learned that there needs to be patience, angles are very important to get the right colors I wanted, and that there was a million different ways and things I could've included in my pictures.

5. I didn't really find anything difficult about taking these pictures, maybe the only off thing is that I took all of them on my phone and not on a class camera.

6. I was really happy with my pictures because although it was for a project, I felt that it was for my own benefit and I was enjoying doing this and the skies I got to thourolly see.

7. I have no idea what I would be doing for my next independent project but it will be completely different of course to be able to provide different images and styles. For my benefit as well to focus and see something new.
